About Me

My photo
Welcome! I am a wife and crafter with a love for things hand made... I am in LOVE with my husband. I enjoy a good cup of tea, magazines, anything that has to do with the outdoors, and cooking organic. The number one thing in my life is Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior- without him nothing would be possible, and I am eternally grateful for his mercy, love and the gift of everlasting life. I'm artsy- I do photography and have my own line of unique accessories for girls and women. I made this blog to share with you Stella Arbor Boutique- Enjoy! My past creations collection (unfortunatly these are not available for sale anymore...)

This is a HUGE photo post of the work I have done up until today... Months of work - all scrunched into one post... Enjoy!

Those are the first 5 that I made... They are not available for sale anymore (sold right away months ago...) but I thought I'd share them anyway...

The quality I put into these is amazing... I try to make these Kanzashi flowers as neat as possible... Even the backs are pretty!

A couple more... There are so many pretty ones! I wish I could still offer them for sale, but once they're gone... they're gone! So next time you see one you like - reserve it ;)

Those pink headbands are some of my favorites... So soft and gentle for babies who have barely any hair! I have so much fun making these :)

As you can see from these, I LOVE kanzashi flowers! They're like cloth origami - it takes some time to learn the skill, but in the end the results are BEAUTIFUL!!!

This is the last one (from my past creations) I realize now that I should have taken more pictures! This concludes the post... The following posts will be of current designs! Enjoy :)

I would also LOVE to start posting on how to correctly make these flowers ( I know some people who try but can't seem to get it) but that will be something in the future...

Thanks!

How Stella Boutique got started...

So how was Stella Arbor Boutique born?

The idea of making sparkly and unique hair accessories actually came to me when I was just a little girl. I remember having a notebook full of drawings, color swatches and ideas for making hair clips, barrettes, headbands and so on...

However - as long as I was little ( and without a paycheck) I wasn't going to get anywhere... But one can dream! I kept that notebook forever, constantly adding to it, thinking up more and more fancy hair pieces that I dreamed one day I could make...

With time, my fascination with crafting became less and less of a possibility - and somehow my dream of having my own line of hair accessories diminished out of mind... School, jobs, and growing up all together became a first priority now - with no time for creativity. While in my last years of high school, however, I became fascinated with photography - and I was good!

My love of photography is I guess what made me rediscover my creativity... Though I kept on with being a photographer throughout the years (and still very much am) - it wasn't until I graduated from college as a dental assistant that I became obsessed with crafting and making hair accessories once again... Now that I had an official career- I had time for myself (and my husband of course - he has been such an encouragement to me pushing me to make bigger and better things) and the things that I love to do.
Yes, creativity keeps me sane... I love to create unique and beautiful things. That's how Stella Arbor Boutique was born (or reborn I guess you can call it...).
Oh yeah - and my husband (he totally came up with the name for my line) I love him :)
